As an Oncology Market Lead, you will ensure to drive our Oncology portfolio strategy across Emerging Markets and support the launch of innovative cancer therapies. Are you ready for the challenge? See below to learn more about this exciting opportunity!

The Opportunity

You'll be responsible for leading the translation and implementation of the strategy for Oncology Brands in EM, collaborate with LOCs on their implementation of strategy and optimisation of launch plans. Challenge ambition, help to deliver commercial performance and excellence in sales execution. You can expect to work very closely with the markets and will hold joint accountability for driving launch excellence and the performance of Oncology Brands within EM.

We'll rely on you to partner up with Global Functions to be the interface with LOCs. Finally, you'll be tasked with engaging and setting up communication flows to ensure appropriate communication takes place around the strategy and assets.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Engage and influence with GMs, Business Heads and Brand Teams in the LOCs to drive growth of marketed assets, optimization of launches and excellence in commercial execution.
  • Provide the right level of support and challenge to drive performance.
  • Drive targeted and leadership best practice and key learnings across EM to drive performance.
  • Drive leadership and winning mindset across markets.
  • Optimize marketed asset performance across EM/ LOCs by reviewing / improving marketing planning, selling / operational excellence, medical affairs strategy, pricing & access initiatives, and regulatory strategy.
  • Accountable for new launches and drives launch excellence of new assets by ensuring development of tailored LOC brand, selling, access, supply & regulatory strategies.
  • Develop strong working relationships with senior EM management to maximize impact of oncology assets on P&L. Provide direction into resourcing planning across sales, marketing and medical.
  • Product expertise (extensive knowledge of phase IIIa & planned IIIb, IV clinical studies & value propositions with supporting Health outcomes data) for marketed assets & planned launch assets.
  • Evaluate and develop necessary treatment evolution strategies with LOCs to ensure appropriate patient awareness, diagnosis & treatment.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Deep Pharma experience in Specialty care
  • Sales and Marketing leadership experience
  • Successful commercial experience gained in different roles, functions and areas of the business across assets, including Oncology, Business Unit or Marketing Head roles.
  • In market and above market experience, ideally within Latin America & Middle East/ North Africa region  
  • Recognized leadership skills in direct and matrix environments, and ability to engage and align different parts of the organization towards efficient decision making.
  • Creative approach to problem solving and the ability to challenge the status quo.
  • Availability to travel around 25%. Time zone flexibility is critical

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Robust oncology expertise
  • Commercial understanding of multiple EM markets

Location flexibility across EM, with base preference in Brazil, Argentina, UK or Turkey
