Order Handler Spare parts

Purpose of the position

Look no further, we are looking for a highly motivated candidate for the role of Order Handler Spare Parts to join our team of professionals in the MacGregor’s family in Arendal.  

In this role, you will be responsible for building strong customer relationships and delivering Spare parts with the highest level of customer satisfaction. Your duties will include producing quotes, handling orders, invoicing, and performing all necessary actions to fulfill our promises regarding spare part handling. You will work in close collaboration with Team Leader MLS Spares and internally with the technical support team, service project team, purchasing team and our service engineers.

To excel in this position, you must have a strong technical understanding and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will be key to your success. This role is part of our Global Services Division (after market) and reports directly to the Team Leader MLS Spares. The position is located in Arendal and will be focused on Spare parts for our Offshore Mooring and Loading products.
 

Main tasks and responsibilities

• First point of contact for customer requests
• Managing & overseeing successful, prompt quote handling and customer deliveries
• Ensure that orders will be delivered according to agreement
• Support and buddy with team members to help with queries and share best practice and knowledge

What you’ll need to succeed

• Technical degree or relevant experience
• Previous experience from similar profession and/or customer experience
• Beneficial if you are familiar with SAP & SalesForce 
• Excellent interpersonal skills and service-orientation mind and attitude
• Proactive and have the ability to prioritize tasks
• Proficient in technical English and Norwegian, spoken and written
