Partner Marketing Professional

  

This role has been designated as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

   

Job Family Definition:

Responsible for developing and managing relations with business, technology and channel partners to drive new business and grow existing business, evaluate sponsorships and sell with partners. Examples of partners: key reseller/retail accounts, independent software vendors, system integrators, component suppliers, trade associations and premium/incentive companies. Activities encompass marketing programs/solutions to/through/with partners to create demand and incremental revenue for company offerings and to deliver differentiated company customer experiences and technology. Assists partner(s) with and monitors delivery of the company experience. Manages/optimizes partner Market Development Funds (MDF), i.e., tracking availability/utilization of funds, developing and/or compliance with program terms, full leveraging of existing programs and proposals for new MDF-based initiatives.

Management Level Definition:

Applies basic foundation of a function's principles, theories and concepts to assignments of limited scope. Uses professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education or previous experience. Develops expertise and practical knowledge of applications within business environment. Acts as team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts. Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine appropriate sources of information in order to collect market requirements for targeted customer segments and/or industry verticals.
  • Collaborate messaging and content for marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Program manage short term milestones/metrics with respect to delivery of messaging/content versus pre-established framework.
  • Perform marketing support activities as required, e.g., Siebel MRM/CRM, PO/accrual management, collateral fulfillment.

Education and Experience Required:

  • BA in Marketing or related degrees or equivalent level of experience.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office tools.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic understanding of marketing fundamentals and tools.
  • Expertise in database access and data extraction.
  • Good ability to summarize and abstract articles and reports.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

Impact/Scope:

  • Provide supporting data for marketing programs that generate revenue and share.

Complexity:

  • Low – limited to immediate team.
