Under close supervision, completes the following activities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment.
Manage parts stock.
Request purchases of parts.
Monitor preventive maintenance performed by suppliers.
Set automation equipment according to operational needs.
Monitor operational processes in order to propose automated improvements.
Monitor equipment productivity and operational windows.
Request and monitor remote support for the equipment.
Train operational teams in the operation of the equipment.
Monitor KPIS and propose process improvements.
Present improvement projects using QDM principles.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum education:
Technical degree in any of the subjects: Automation, Mechatronic mechanics; Electronics; or Electrical. Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering Electrical Engineering preferred.
The following certifications are preferred but not required:
•NR10 certification.
•NR12 certification.
•NR35 certification.
•NR33 certification.
•QDM practitioner and expert.
•NR11 certification.
Minimum experience:
Two (2) years related experience in the following areas:
•Motor Reducers and frequency inverters.
•Managing parts stocks.
•Maintenance of mechanical equipment.
•Maintenance of electrical equipment.
•Experience in the area of logistics and/or transport; and with lathe and tooling preferred but not required.
Minimum skills required:
•Analytical ability, good logical reasoning.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Organization skills
•Good personal, dynamic and creative relationships, since the activities to be performed will require constant contact with customers and other areas.
