The role reports to the Category Manager and is located in Memphis, Tennessee.
Your responsibilities
- Support teams to track suppliers’ progress in our ambitious Greenhouse Gas Reduction Initiative
- Support the team to bring supplier risk management to a new level by researching and suggesting innovative tools and methods
- Create meaningful data visualization using MS Excel and PowerBI to support leadership in decision making
- Support in analyzing as-is processes, developing a future-state and driving implementation actions
- Support the Supplier Quality team for any vendor issues and resolutions
- Support the Supplier Quality team to reduce DPPM and NCRs from key suppliers
- Learn new tools and methods through structured trainings and on-the job application. Typical tools and methods are PowerBI, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and EcoVadis Sustainability Practitioner
- Mentoring and networking opportunities
- Personal and professional development programing will be offered to all interns. This programing will include global and local sessions
Your background
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in the US
- Must be currently authorized to work for ABB in the US
