We are looking for a Product Development Manager to join our Research and Development team in Sri Lanka . As a Product Development Manager you will be responsible for leading the development of new products and improving existing ones to meet consumer needs and drive business growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Product Development strategies in line with company goals including product desing activities (Innovation Renovation )
- Lead crossfunctional teams to bring new products to market on time and within budget
- Collaborate with marketing supply chain and other departments to ensure successful product launches
- Conduct market research to identify consumer trends and insights
- Manage product testing validation and regulatory compliance processes
- Monitor and analyze product performance and consumer feedback to drive continuous improvement
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Food Science Chemistry or Engineering
- Proven experience in Product Development or research and development
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Detailoriented with a focus on quality and innovation
Desired Experience:
- 7 years of experience in Product Development in the consumer goods industry preferred
- Experience working with crossfunctional teams
- Knowledge of market trends and consumer insights
