In this role, you will be responsible for production planning across various manufacturing stages in the field of circuit breakers, pole parts, and epoxy components. You will closely collaborate with different departments and ABB partner factories to maintain a comprehensive overview of production. Your significant involvement will extend to the implementation of new planning and production tools, as well as active participation in projects aimed at process optimization.
Your responsibilities
- Production planning across various manufacturing stages in SAP, considering costs, customer deadlines, capacities, and suppliers.
- Coordinating capacities with other departments and ABB partner factories.
- Serving as a contact person for order processing in control centers to ensure the production process.
- Assisting in the implementation of new planning and production tools.
- Identifying and maintaining batch sizes and scheduling methods while considering business factors.
- Monitoring and optimizing inventory, taking into account ROTD (Run Out To Day).
- Developing logistic concepts.
- Conducting projects for process optimization.
- Implementation and removal of products.
Your background
- University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Production with a focus on Logistics.
- Initial professional experience in production planning (including internships or student jobs).
- Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
- Proficient in SAP.
- High IT affinity and interest in new (technology) trends.
- We are looking for a communicative, solution-oriented team player who, together with a small dynamic team, is shaping the future of production planning.
