Role Summary:
Production Supervisors direct activities within the operations team as it relates to production, inventory management and quality. These highly motivated individuals ensure efficient production while promoting and working safely within established policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the safety and HSE objectives of everyone in the department;
Manage the people in the team, answering day-to-day questions, checking employees' attendance records and monitoring individual and collective development;
Taking part in meetings set up by the company;
Daily monitoring of activities, ensuring that deadlines are met;
Ensuring that at least 85% of the team's capacity is used.
Ensuring that the team meets execution times with at least 85% efficiency;
Ensuring communication with peers in order to meet the monthly productivity "FORCAST";
Ensuring the lowest cost of rework in the department.
Guarantee the department's quality metrics (FPY) of 95%.
Ensuring the quality, costs and deadlines of all projects;
Supporting employees with technical queries and problem-solving;
Supporting the maintenance team, ensuring that all machines are fully operational and opening maintenance orders; - Managing KPIs (utilization, efficiency, productivity, scrap, rework).

Requirements:
Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical and/or Production) or more than 5 years' experience as a Machining Supervisor
Experience in industrial operations and processes (preferably in the industrial pumps market)
Complete Office package at intermediate level
Knowledge of people and process management
Ability to make decisions in the manufacturing process
Leadership skills in controlling operational indicators;
Motivation and drive to achieve results
Ability to delegate activities and solve problems
Ability to work as part of a team in pursuit of mutual objectives
Preferred Skills:
Desirable knowledge Intermediate English
Desirable knowledge advanced Excel
