Project Engineer– Distributed Control System (DCS)

The successful candidate will join Honeywell ProcessSolutions in Barueri – SP, Brazil and will have responsibility for design andimplementation of DCS System. Duties will include executing front-end DCSstudies, supervising/leading the development of design documents and drawings, Alldisciplines DCS application design and implementation, and project-relateddocumentation. Other duties will include consultation support on a variety ofapplications, sales and proposal support and customer demonstrations. Leadingor mentoring other less experienced engineers will be expected. Travel (up to 60%),including international, will be required.
KeyResponsibilities
- Evaluate required prerequisites (e.g. design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, budget).
- Produces part(s) of detailed design specifications.
- Executes technical work assignment to appropriate standards and quality systems.
- Executes test work assignments to appropriate standards and quality systems.
- Executes documentation work assignments to appropriate standards and quality systems.
- Proactively recommends potential quality and efficiency improvements within the engineering group.
- Shares technical knowledge with project team, supervisor, own discipline and other engineering disciplines.
- Reports progress and technical problems and/or changes to Project Manager
YOU MUSTHAVE
- Engineer degree in electronic, Control & Automation or industrial
- Minimum 10 years of experience working with automatization process, distribution Control Systems.
- Travel availability (60%)
- Advanced level of English
- Spanish will be a plus
- Need to have previous experience in Oil & Gas
- Location: Barueri – SP – Brazil
