We have an opportunity for a Project Engineer I (Service Team) for our Honeywell Process Solutions Global Engineering Service Center in Chongqing China. In this role, you will partner with world class engineers to delivery Process Industry (Oil & Gas, Terminals, and Petrochemical etc.) DCS (Honeywell Experion PKS) or PLC (Honeywell ControlEdge) system projects or services to our end users to extend their systems’ lifecycle and enabling latest control technologies be used. You will also be part of the project/service team to develop program schedules, milestones, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.
Description (Please list 5~8 job responsibilities)
Work individually for a Project Team with Control systems design, implementation, documentation, test, and commissioning activities.
- Review Customer inputs and accordingly generate query (if any) for clarification.
- Produce part(s) of functional design specifications under supervision and detailed design specifications under supervision.
- Support in planning / scheduling of project execution.
- Design system or marshalling cabinets and supervise the integration at vendor location.
- Develop HMI Graphics from P&ID markup.
- Execute application programming work with appropriate standards.
- Conduct factory test work with appropriate standards and procedures in front of customer/end user.
- Conduct site installation, test work and commissioning in front of customer/end user.
- Share technical knowledge with project team, supervisor, own discipline, and other engineering disciplines.
- Report progress and technical problems to project team.
- Pro-actively identifies potential quality and efficiency improvements within assigned work.
- Another task assigned by team leader.
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Industry / Functional Knowledge, etc. ):
1. Bachelor's Degree or above in Automation, Instrumentation or Electrical.
2. With working experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Pharma, LNG etc. process industry is preferred.
3. More than 3 years’ experiences of DCS/SIS/PLC system related experience (include but not limited to engineering design, programming, factory testing and site commissioning) for Honeywell Experion PKS, Emerson, Yokogawa, ABB, HollySys or SupCon is preferred.
4. Basic Process knowledge and Network knowledge are preferred.
Skills (Computer, Communication, Leadership, Behavior, etc):
1. Good command of English on oral and writing is preferred.
2. With good computer skill sets for Microsoft Office (Excel / Word etc.).
3. Work with ownership and take responsibility for any work assigned to you.
4. Able to work under pressure and tight schedule.
5. Able to travel as per request, might above 3 months once a time.
6. A positive working attitudes, willing to sharing knowledge to colleagues and a good teammate.

“Basic” equals to IELTS 4.0 (Limited user): basic competence is limited to familiar situations. Have frequent problems in understanding and expression. Is not able to use complex language. This is the minimum English level expected of all China University graduates.
