Project Manager - Distribution Solutions

We are now looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Distribution Solutions in Vaasa. In this role you will be managing product delivery projects in the medium voltage switchgears business line. Your role is to act as the single point contact for the customer in all after sales activities. You will also be the link between customers and factories to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth project delivery. Your responsibilities

• Leading the execution of product delivery projects while effectively monitoring and controlling project progress
• Monitoring and controlling project financials, offer calculations, overseeing project invoicing statuses, costs and cash flow
• Effectively building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through continuous communication
• As the key contact for customers; escalating project issues, managing risks while ensures that potential opportunities are identified
• Capturing, analyzing, and sharing lessons learned throughout the project to the team and relevant stakeholders
• Conducting customer surveys on the delivered projects to ensure quality, continuous development and that the project follows best practices and ABB policies

Your background

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. level degree from electrical engineering or similar
• Solid work experience from working in a technology or industrial company
• Knowledge and previous work experience from project management
• Previous work experience from medium voltage switchgears is seen as an advantage
• Interest in building long-lasting customer relationships with a continuous development mindset
• Good communication and organizational skills to support working among various stakeholders and projects
• Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel approximately 20 days a year (mostly within Europe)
