Project Sales Manager - Valves

Partner with the best

This Project Sales Manager is responsible for Valve (Masoneilan & Consolidated) sales growth for capital projects. The primary responsibilities are account management, project pursuit, end user influence (with channel partner sites).
 

As a Project Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving direct sales calls to Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) accounts to understand opportunities that lead to sales activities
  • Segmenting & tier customers to build robust account strategies and assignments with team of direct Sales Managers
  • Developing relationships with key functions within identified strategic accounts and maintaining robust sales opportunity pipeline for direct accounts
  • Expanding robust sales opportunity pipeline for direct accounts and clearly document to drive operational focus and deal closure
  • Identifying customer requirements and communicate business opportunities to key business stakeholders including product management, supply chain, and executive P&L leadership
  • Travelling for business up to 25%


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college (or a High School Diploma with minimum 10 years of experience in Sales, Customer/Product Support, and/or Services within the automation industry)
  • Have 5 years of experience in application engineering, industrial sales, or at least 10 years experience within the valve and/or instrumentation space in either sales or commercial function.
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to work on your own.
  • Have deep understanding of full industrial project cycle including early engagement/influence, project quotation process, technical / commercial negotiations, project execution.
  • Possess experience working with the application and administration of control valves
  • Have technical negotiation skills and excellent presentation skills.
