What you'll do:
As the Quality Supervisor, you will be responsible for the development, direction, and coordination of programs and strategic initiatives to improve Quality in operations in the São Carlos Plant, aiming to increase customer satisfaction and product reliability as well as reduce associated costs. If you have great organizational and analytical skills, are detail-oriented, and can unite your strategic perspective with a people-first approach, then this position is meant for you! In detail, you will:
- Direct and coordinate Quality operations on the factory floor, including activities related to assembly, auditing, finishing and manufacturing;
- Lead business strategic initiatives and programs on quality and quality business philosophy (e.g. ISO 9001);
- Work closely with internal areas to evaluate the impact of our continuous improvement programs and initiatives on customer satisfaction;
- Work closely with the production teams and other stakeholders to incorporate process and design changes needed to improve KPI results;
- Take charge of establishing plans, implementing, measuring, and auditing goals and programs for the Quality area in the plant;
- Lead the implementation and auditing of Quality practices.
As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).
Who you are:
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or Quality Sciences or related areas;
- Strong experience working with quality in complex high-volume manufacturing companies with ISO certification;
- Experience working with people management within the Quality area (including furthering Diversity and Inclusion themes in the workplace);
- Experience using analysis and problem-solving methodologies in continuous improvement projects;
- Experience with Six Sigma methodology;
- Solid knowledge of quality tools (DFMEA, PFMEA, PFM, IPCP and JDS);
- Knowledge of innovation initiatives;
- Advanced English.
