The Standard Solutions Specialist is responsible for reviewing and interpretating customer’s technical specifications to size & select appropriate filtration equipment in several different industries (Energy Transition/Renewables, Refinery, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas, Midstream, Pulp & Paper, Steel manufacturing, etc.). As a balance of both technical & commercial skills, Standard Solutions Engineers/Specialists have a multitude of career growth opportunities within the organization. This position is part of the Technical Solutions Department and is a remote position (with an expectation to be onsite 1 day / week). Our team seeks to find the best filtration solution for our customers in order to improve their processes through improved reliability & process optimization.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Provide technical expertise to sales representatives, resellers and customers during the sales process.
Responsible for the development and use of a set of software tools to improve the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of Quotations, Orders and Order Changes.
Support commercial sales team and distribution channel partners through product recommendations, quote generation and aiding order entry, SFDC, and SAP
Communicate with customers to understand and address their technical needs and concerns
Provide product drawings, datasheets, and operation manuals to sales team and end user customers
Essential Requirements:
Prior experience with managing direct customer accounts, including technical support, sizing, and routing all customer requests from phone queue, live chat, and general mailbox
Bachelor’s Degree. Technical, Engineering preferred, or Business with Technical sales/support experience
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Preferred, knowledgeable of Brazilian industrial markets
Preferred, multi-lingual (English, Spanish, and Portuguese)
Preferred, experience in Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Powerpoint, Excel, etc.)
