Your Profile

You play a pivotal role in aligning, coordinating, and synchronizing Agile teams in Volvo Group Connected Solutions in Latin America to deliver value that is aligned with the organization's strategic objectives. You are a person with the big picture, the person who understands the priorities, release schedule, progress, predictability, and risks at any given time. You are viewed as a source of truth for executives that want a clear understanding of investment, progress, and release plans. You are extremely active ensuring readiness for PI Planning to include helping digital product managers and business stakeholders prepare the vision/context/feature backlogs, understanding required architecture runway and enablers, identifying required shared services, leveraging facilitation/collaboration techniques and tools. You understand the domains, expertise, and decision authority to listen to all, but also coalesce the important feedback into plans the organization is aligned against. You facilitate and negotiate. It's all about getting to a plan that delivers the most value at the earliest time – of course, a lot of people will have different opinions about what that plan should be! You facilitate Inspect and Adapt sessions to understand the challenges and help the organization identify and execute on solutions. You can deeply and quickly analyze situations, know how to pull information from technical experts, and ultimately guide the teams towards delivering value. Understanding SDLC, technology, and agile technical practices goes a long way to building the abilities required. You do not need to be a technical expert, but you advocate for DevOps capabilities. You are not expected to perform in the role of product manager, but you must be able to comprehend the product discipline. You have the ability to understand changing priorities, required pivots, updated acceptance criteria, and how to incorporate them into current or future PIs in partnership with the product organization and business areas is a must. You assess ART flow to understand which meaningful metrics to track, how to interpret them, and ways to course correct when the numbers suggest things are headed out of bounds.

Your Main Responsibilities

  1. Facilitating Program Increment Planning by organizing and facilitating Volvo Group Connected Solutions Latin America Program Increment (PI) planning events, supporting define their objectives, identify dependencies, and create a shared plan for the upcoming increment.
  2. Coaching and Supporting Teams helping them embrace SAFe principles and practices and fostering a culture of relentless improvement.
  3. Removing Impediments being a servant leader, by actively identifying and addressing any obstacles that might hinder the progress of the ART, working collaboratively with teams and stakeholders to find effective solutions.
  4. Communicating with Stakeholders: serving as a key liaison between the teams and external stakeholders, including senior management, ensuring transparency, alignment, and effective organizational communication.
  5. Ensuring Operational Excellence by being responsible for driving continuous improvement within the ART, monitoring key performance indicators, facilitating Inspect and Adapt (I&A;) workshops, and promoting a culture of learning and innovation.

Qualifications Required

Master of Science in Computer Science, Electronics or equivalent
Passion for people and technology with managerial experience from line management
Experience from Product or SW development in the automotive industry
Experience from leading agile product development using the SAFe framework
