What you’ll achieve
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist with expertise in Time Series forecasting or Natural Language Processing to join the Data Science team within the Cloud Infrastructure Services organization, responsible for managing Dell’s on Prem datacenters. We find ways to effectively utilize our infrastructure resources, explore new ways of AI & ML utilization to improve and optimize. You will play a key role in building AI solutions to help modernize our infrastructure and leverage new Generative AI technologies.
You will:
Be responsible for designing and implementing Data Science solutions that meet the needs of the Cloud Infrastructure Services organization.
Develop and implement time series forecasting models to forecast our infrastructure needs on a multi-year horizon
Make use of on prem Data Science platform to enable Generative AI solutions.
Develop and apply advanced techniques and theories to deliver actionable business insights based on large-scale data.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, sharing your expertise and best practices. Cultivate a culture of documentation & transparency.

Essential Requirements
Solid work experience with advanced statistical skills and appropriate Mathematical knowledge
Solid in SQL, skilled in Python or R ( and other job-related programming languages) to implement statistical and machine learning models(Time Series Forecasting, Regression, Classification, Clustering, etc.)
Familiarity with large language models (e.g., GPT-3, GPT-4, BERT) and Gen AI products (e.g.langchain, vector databases, IR systems).
Desirable Requirements
Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field
White Papers in collaboration with academic peers and others on innovative techniques or new approaches to Machine Learning / Predictive Modelling
