Supply Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for operational purchasing activities in Drive Products division in Finland, ensuring optimal material flow from our global suppliers to our regional distribution centers and Helsinki Pitäjänmäki factory. You will work closely together with central stock fulfilment leads and the supply chain management team to make sure our regional distribution center’s needs are clearly understood by suppliers and by supplier responsible persons. The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: •Initiate purchase orders in the ERP system & confirm delivery with suppliers. •Take ownership of aligning supply plans with demand requirements for box build category. •Monitor material availability and proactively take necessary actions in closing possible gaps. •Track supplier performance to purchase order requirements. •Oversee supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolve performance issues together with supplier responsible persons. •Ensure that all purchasing activities align with corporate policies and procedures, e.g., correct goods received/invoice received discrepancies. •Function as the key coordinator between procurement and regional distribution center responsible teams.

Qualifications for the role

• Few years’ experience of working in supply chain management or in operations
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel
• Understanding of direct procurement activities and practices, as well as experience from ERP systems (e.g. SAP ECC)
• Demonstrated history of coordinating actions in multi-stakeholder environment
• Working understanding of inventory balancing activities is considered as an advantage
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in suitable field
• Fluency in Finnish and English
