Job Purpose
Responsible for coordinating and leading the activities of the Event (Bowl and People’s Park) section by overseeing the building customer relations, the optimizing of sales of event and the management of events from point of enquiry.
Key Responsibility Areas
• Responsible for establishing, nurturing and maintaining strong relationships and lines of
communication with current and prospective client for the ongoing success of the business.
• In response to Event enquires from current and prospective clients draws up agreement or
contracts.
• Checking client requirement in detail (final numbers; food and beverage; artist rider; set-up;
safety & security and medical requirements) and communicating these to the relevant departments and the Event Coordinators.
• Hosting events to demonstrate commitment and support.
• The closing off and reconciling of the event by obtaining and collates all chargers and invoice
from third parties.
• Efficient admin and reporting on events by processing and follows-up on client invoices for up to 30 days and then hands over to Accounts for collection.
• Coordinates and guide a team of staff.
Special Conditions:
• The execution of any function as delegated by the Head of Department or immediate manager in terms of powers indicated in the relevant legislation and related to the functions of this post.

• 6 Years relevant experience.
