We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer with expertise in Delphi 5, Oracle, and Visual Basic 6 technologies.
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of relevant experience and will play a key role in developing and maintaining software solutions for our clients.
This is a remote position based in Portugal, with occasional trips to our offices in Lisbon or Ireland.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software applications using Delphi 5, Oracle, and Visual Basic 6.
- Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing software applications.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
Main requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Delphi 5 , Oracle , and Visual Basic 6 .
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience with Titan Word Doc Hybrid (Word 2010).
- Familiarity with source code repositories such as Azure Repo and Karinos .
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
