As a Senior Field ServiceTechnician at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring theoptimal performance of our Building Automation systems. You will be responsiblefor commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting our HVAC equipment andsystems at our commercial and government sites. You will be part of a dynamicteam dedicated to delivering top-notch service to our clients, contributing tothe seamless operation of smart buildings, and championing Honeywell'scommitment to excellence.

You will report directly to our Field ServiceSupervisor, and you will provide support for our customers in Richmond,VA and surrounding area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test, calibrate, and verify system and peripheral devices (testing to be performed according to all applicable standards and codes)
  • Verify system functional performance to ensure proper operations according to contract requirements and shop drawings/sequence of operations, etc.
  • Perform system backups, install appropriate updates and patches
  • Maintain accurate records of all installations, maintenance activities, and repairs. Complete service reports and documentation in a timely manner
  • Update customer drawings/documentation with any configuration or model changes
  • Ensure all assigned preventive maintenance tasks are completed in the time allotted

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • 2+ years’ experience working with HVAC or other Building Automation systems. (Hardware & Software)
  • Former knowledge of completing preventative maintenance
  • Ability to troubleshoot, conduct repairs, and work independently
  • Ability to travel throughout the service area, with occasional overnight stays as needed
  • Valid Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell

WE VALUE

  • Technical degree or certification in HVAC or other relevant industry
  • Additional Building Automation certifications (not necessarily Honeywell) is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical diagrams and sequences of operation
  • Advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting capabilities
