Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Analyst to join our team in the bunkering segment. The ideal candidate will need a strong background in logistics and operations management within the maritime industry. The Senior Analyst will play a crucial role in optimizing operational efficiency, managing logistics processes, and ensuring smooth operations within our bunkering operations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage day-to-day bunkering operations, including scheduling, coordination, and execution of fuel deliveries to vessels, through different supply methods.
End-to-End analysis and optimization of the logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure a minimum safety stock for sales while optimizing potential gains or minimizing losses due to market price fluctuations.
Coordinate with suppliers, shipping agents, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of fuel and related services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Implement and maintain databases of executed operations and report them for management purposes.
Help create, improve, and monitor KPIs for management reports on operational performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations and logistics management, preferably in the Maritime/Shipping Industry.
Knowledge of bunkering operations will be a plus.
Proven track record of success in optimizing logistics processes and driving operational efficiency.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in relevant software and systems, including MS Office, Power BI, and ERP systems (TOTVS).
