Senior Video Engineer

Senior Video Engineer We are looking for a Sr. Video Engineer to be part of a team that serves our clients developing tools to measure and increase the company's rate of innovation. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications and services. You will work closely with our product and design teams to ensure that our applications are user-friendly and meet the needs of our customers. As a Sr. Video Engineer, you will guide the design, implementation, and deployment of enhancements to our video compositing and processing offerings. Requirements: Proven track record in designing and writing high-performance, services for production written in idiomatic Rust Deep knowledge and comfortable with RAII-style programming with C++11 features Expertise working with the source code of Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF) Extensive knowledge of graphical and audio pipelines on Linux (FFmpeg, GStreamer, PipeWire) Strong understanding of UDP and/or low latency communication Experience with one or more video codecs (e.g. H.264, HEVC, VP8, VP9, AV1, VVC) and video containers and transmission protocols (e.g. FLV, HLS, RTMP, SRT, MPEG TS, MP4) Ability to write robust, high-performance code along with the tooling to measure and verify it.
