Job Summary:
The Legal Technology Operations (LTO) Team Manager is responsible for the support, development and production of technology requests via the LTO team to support the Legal organization. The team manager coordinates the daily work for all the Legal Technology resources based in Indian and the Philippines teams prioritizing their work on the LTORT tickets (i.e. requests) and projects within the Legal Tech Ops team. This role will involve close interaction with Legal Technology Operations leadership and with senior individuals in the Legal team across the globe.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of the Technology Operations Request Tool (LTORT) ticket process and dashboard via daily management of team productivity, delivery of work product and timeline management
Resource management via delegation of requests to the appropriate team member, accounting for skillset, growth and familiarity of work for members of the LTO team based in both India and Philippines
Quality review of work product
Participation in requirements gathering discussions with requestors, where necessary
Coordinating with each of the Legal Technology Operations managers involving them in any meetings associated to LTORT requests logged associated to the functional legal team they support
Overall project prioritization, finding any synergies and similarities across LTORT tickets
Bi-weekly meeting with the Transformational Technology Lead for status, trends and LTORT overview, and non-urgent escalations
Respond to ad-hoc queries from leadership regarding ad hoc technology support (i.e. SharePoint development, surveys, access control, etc.).
Identify improvement opportunities, create related practical, achievable action plans, and provide program management support to execute against plans
Works with the CIO leadership team in the Philippines to coordinate on-boarding and exit of any of the borrowed CIO resources working on the LTO team
Relationships:
Reports to: Legal Technology Operations Director
Supervises: Supervises the Legal Tech Ops team on a daily basis.
Coordinates with the CIO Technology Operations Team lead
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Work Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in program management, change management, and capability development in roles with increasing responsibility, such experience should be in a consulting company or in a fast-paced internal group for a consulting, systems integration, and outsourcing services vendor.
