Role Responsibilities
- Be the focal point for development of SCD’s overall roadmap
- Serve as a focal point to support the site focal points in development and execution of the road map and action plan
- Monitor and drive progress serving as an escalation point to help break down barriers
- Streamline processes (within scope) that inhibit progress
- Ensure improvements/best practices are being leveraged across sites
- Problem solve with sites to accelerate progress
- Coach, mentor, and educate the broader SCD population on our sustainability program, our progress, and our performance
- Develop broader impact project ideas that can be used at multiple sites to drive broader impact i.e. evaporator elimination
- Work with Aerospace sustainability team to develop and enable all work streams
- Ensure energy/carbon optimization processes are documented as standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in EHS, Facilities & Maintenance, Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Project Management, or other relevant field
- May require travel up to 25% of the time
Additional Qualifications
- Experience in energy management
- Experience with facilities and equipment maintenance particularly retro-commissioning and efficiency improvements
- Excellent project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Experience in the use of Lean tools
- Excellent at working with and communicating with a virtual team
- Proactive and willing to improve on processes and in creating feedback loops.

- Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively
- Focused: strategically prioritizes work, committed
