Job Description:

The Financial System Technical Leader plays a crucial role in strategically planning, coordinating, and overseeing all facets of administration, enhancements/development, and support functions within the financial system. This individual will leverage well-honed communication and problem-solving skills, along with a deep understanding of application development and project execution best practices. Their primary responsibility is to provide expert guidance to development teams, ensuring a seamless process from design and development to deployment and ongoing support for both cloud and on-premises solutions.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess a solid working knowledge and direct experience with Microsoft Dynamics 2009 or 2012 (MS-AX). Moreover, they should demonstrate hands-on experience in leading software development projects using X++ in MS-AX. An additional advantage would be familiarity with Oracle Fusion, which will be regarded as a differentiating factor in the selection process. Overall, the Financial System Leader will be a key driver in optimizing the financial system's functionality and efficiency, making essential contributions to its continuous improvement and innovation.

Essential Functions: (Primary)

• Design, document, build, test, and create the release documentation for deployment Microsoft Dynamics AX F & O bug fixes and enhancements including complex fields, validation rules, workflows, reporting, and upgrades.
• Participate in full development cycle including discovery, analysis, requirements, work estimation, design, code development, testing, and deployment plan.
• Customize Dynamics AX for Finance using .NET and X++
• Create queries using MSSQL studio

Other Responsibilities: (Secondary)

• Work on escalated tickets, troubleshooting/debugging the issue for better understanding and actions
• Conduct research to fully understand assigned issues

• Ensure that support issues are assigned, and resolutions are documented AX System Special Projects

• 3+ years of experience supporting or working with AX Systems (2009);
• MSSQL (Queries and Stored Procedures)
