What We Need :
Based in Cincinnati, OH, the Broadcast Data Center lead is a member of the cross-functional engineering Tiger Team. You will be the primary technical lead for the Broadcast Data Center, overseeing the collection of internal and external audio sources and converting them into appropriate IP audio formats for use in many broadcast systems as well as disaster recovery.
You will also participate in solving higher level broadcast technical issues and work with other Tiger Team members with on-site and remote projects, as well as helping to solve more complex technical issues within the organization.
What You'll Do :
- As a member of the Tiger Team you will work independently, and lead other team members to resolve complex broadcast engineering and broadcast IT issues while also helping to develop new technology.
- Will be the primary technical lead for the Broadcast Data Center in Cincinnati, OH, leading efforts convert audio from multiple internal and external sources for use in IP audio delivery systems, cloud-based architecture, and disaster recovery.
- Work with other internal teams on network architecture across to implement, troubleshoot, and improve delivery of IP audio in various architectures.
- Travel and work remotely with various teams on internal projects, including installation, support, and commissioning of broadcast studio, IT, and RF equipment.
- Assist with the identification of recurring complex technical issues and works cross-functionally with internal and external teams for resolution.
- Occasional night and weekend work is required as well as a rotating on-call schedule.
- Service-oriented work requiring excellent written and oral communication, as well as daily and personable interaction with members of various departments.
What You'll Need :
- Excellent technical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of broadcast IT systems.
- Ability to work both independently, or with other team members depending on project scope, with occasional night and weekend work.
- Ability to climb ladders, work in small spaces, and ability to lift 50 pounds
- Minimum of 2 years of technical school or military training in electronics, RF, IT, or Networking, (4- year degree preferred), or equivalent experience.
4 years of experience in broadcast engineering or enterprise IT / Networking.
- Experience with multiple networking and communication protocols, including audio over IP protocols.
- Technical working knowledge of networking equipment (switches, routers, etc.) is a plus
- Technical working knowledge of SDWAN is optional, but desired.
- Technical working knowledge of Windows PC and Server operating systems. Mac and Linux-based system knowledge is a plus
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced multitasking technical and administrative environment.
- Valid state driver’s license and an excellent driving record

Compensation :
Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
