Job Description
The area is responsible to develop and implement pricing, reimbursement and market access strategy of Biogen portfolio in Brazil.
This position is responsible for ensuring market access excellence by striving for the optimal pricing, reimbursement and launch timing in collaboration with global, regional and local cross-functional teams.
Identifies and supports key strategies to facilitate optimal market access for new products and to maintain/optimize market access for existing products and pipeline.
Has a deep understanding of the Brazilian healthcare structure and political and economic environment, with market access expertise; is able to contribute in shaping the healthcare environment and HTA process.
Qualifications
- Understanding of the Brazilian health care environment
- At least 5-year experience in market access
- Proficient leadership, influencing, strategic planning and organization, decision making and problem-solving skills
- Experienced in developing payer policy and strategies
- Precise, organized and able to write in a comprehensive and clear way
- Demonstrated relationship building skills at all levels of the organization including negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to work in a team – cross functional mindset
- Strong communication skills to be able to communicate to senior leadership
- Knowledge of Health Economics / Pricing
- Sense of urgency and delivery orientation
- Analytical with strong MS Excel skills, including experience in developing financial models and the ability to succinctly and clearly communicate implications of analysis
- Knowledge of neuroscience/rare disease or country-specific market access experience a plus
- University degree in any field
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Pharmacoeconomic and/or HTA Specialization
- Fluent Portuguese and English;
- Based in São Paulo as position is hybrid (2-3 times a week at the office is required);
