About The Job
Dudek is seeking a Vice-President of Marketing who excels as a creative and innovative leader within the A/E/C industry. As Vice-President of Marketing, you’ll be responsible for leading the firms overall marketing, business development, branding, promotional communications, and creative strateg ies to drive Dudek’s continued success. Y ou’ll play a pivotal role in leading and collaborating with executive and operation al leadership and Dudek internal teams . The Vice-President of Marketing will report directly to the CEO.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Leadership
- Provide guidance, tactical and strategic planning, and support execution of create high-quality, on-time marketing deliverables to support the firm’s goals and mission across all service areas, and client needs.
- Serve as a prominent brand ambassador and skilled storyteller to help shape and share Dudek’s brand and vision.
- Collaborate with practice leaders and operational leaders to continue to position Dudek as a leader in the A/E/C marketplace.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Marketing, communications, publications, and creative professionals to achieve clear goals and facilitate professional development.
- Foster a culture of excellence and innovation to deliver high-quality proposals, presentations, and promotional communication materials to internal and external clients.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and innovations, client needs, and competitors' activities.
- Create and manage the marketing budget to ensure cost-effective strategies .
- Actively participate in A/E/C industry events and contribute to thought leadership in the industry.
- Collaborate with practice leaders, proposal services manager, and business development manager to develop and expand Dudek’s service offerings, business plans, and connect resources to develop winning strategies to support firmwide business growth.
- Oversee the strategy of business development activities for key strategic clients in collaboration with practice leadership.
- C ollaborate with key organizations and consultants to establish teaming opportunities that enhance Dudek’s standing in the A/E/C market.
- Seek speaking opportunities for Dudek’s thought leaders at industry events to further elevate Dudek’s profile.
- Evaluate and optimize business development, capture planning, and proposal management systems and processes to capitalize on opportunities to expand our client relationships and grow in target markets.
- Leverage marketing metrics and data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of Marketing strategies and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
- Direct the maintenance, management, and optimization of CRM data in Deltek VantagePoint to support firmwide business development activities.
- Apply a passion for data and an understanding of the unique challenges for the A/E/C industry to capitalize on various CRM systems.
- Work in partnership with the promotional communications manager to develop and implement strategies for promotional campaigns leveraging channels including the website/blog, social media, email, webinars, digital advertising, and media/press.
- Partner with promotional communications manager to monitor and analyze digital marketing metrics, and adjust strategies, as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, public relations, or a related field.
- 10 –15 years’ experience in various marketing leadership roles in the A/E/C industry or related fields.
- Experience leading wide-ranging marketing activities ranging from high-profile proposal development to promotional marketing campaigns.
- Experience leading a team and driving cross-functional initiatives, ideally within an entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to work West Coast (PST) hours.
- Master's degree in marketing, business, public relations, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of A/E/C industry dynamics and trends.
- Understanding of standard AEC proposal practices.
- Knowledge of Deltek Vision/Deltek VantagePoint.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience working in a highly collaborative environment.
- Flexible and adaptive to change.
- Demonstrated experience in making value-based decisions.
- Proven ability to set goals, implement programs, and evaluate results.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing diverse and interdisciplinary staff toward effective results and professional development.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics, and marketing software.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Foundational understanding of the uses of AI in elevating communications, marketing, and proposal work products.
Physical Requirements
Working Conditions:
- This job operates in a remote or office-based environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc.
- This job requires occasional project site visits-based outdoors which can include excessive noise, uneven walking surfaces, extreme weather, moving vehicles and equipment.

Proposed Salary Range: $160,000 - $220,000*
*Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual’s related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
