In this position, we are looking for a Video Editor for YouTube videos and short-form videos such as reels and shorts. Responsibilities: Meeting with the content team to determine the production vision Manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques Maintaining continuity while moving shots according to scene value Trimming footage and putting together the rough project Inserting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects Ensuring the project follows a logical sequence Consulting with the content team throughout the project Make high-quality thumbnails for every video you edit Make reels/shorts out of YouTube videos Editing videos for YouTube Podcasts editingResponsibilities Requirements: - Experience as an YouTube Video Editor - Demonstrable video editing skills with a strong portfolio - Proficiency with at least 3 tools (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Corel - - Draw, Adobe After Effect, Final Cut etc.) - A strong eye for visual composition - Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines - Ability to give and receive constructive criticism - Understanding of marketing, production, graphic design, corporate identity, advertisements - Knowledge of English: at least B2 - Working hours: 7am - 3pm PST Benefits: Competitive salary Semi-flexible work hours Remote work year-round 25 PTOs 9 paid National holidays Paid Birthday off Continuous growth This will be a remotely administered FULL-TIME [40 hr/week] position with an immediate starting date upon hire.
