Purpose of the position

 

HAB'S Tail Lifts division is looking for a VP, Sales and Product Management. The purpose of the role is to provide best-in-class customer experience by delivering differentiated solutions, including market-leading products and data-driven services, throughout the product lifecycle with market-leading offerings supporting our customers & organisation to meet our sustainability targets.

 

As a result, Product Management will be a key driver of HIAB’s long-term profitable growth by delivering high-value solutions for customers' current and future business needs.

 

The role can be based in the major HIAB'S locations in Europe-  Sweden,  Netherlands, Denmark, United Kingdom, or Finland. 

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for driving product business performance, sales revenue, and market share growth
  • Owns overall portfolio MGPP (segments, offering development, roadmap, discontinuing product(s))
  • Ensures execution of product pricing policy utilizing fact-based tools (value-based pricing, competitive analysis, price positioning, and pricing model/policy
  • Ensures deep customer & market insights for decision-making to drive differentiated performance (NPD, marketing, training, USPs)
  • Leads align and inspire cross-functional teams to meet targets
  • Lead innovations cross-functionally 
  • Deliver optimized TCO to meet market/customer requirements 
  • Contribute to HIAB PM processes and own and implement divisional processes
  • Sponsor (or own) NPD projects to deliver on business cases
  • Define route to market (together with sales and marketing).

 

What you’ll need to succeed

 

Education:

 

  • Typically, university (degree) level (technical and/or business)


Experience:

 

  • Multiple years of experience in PM function
  • Experience in a multinational working environment
  • Preferably some experience in on-road load handling systems (or similar heavy equipment)
  • Track record of leading and developing high-performing team


Competencies:

 

  • Manager/Directing, inside a function or process - with accountability for delivery of business results. Typically managing a team of professionals and/or processes with a comprehensive ability to influence stakeholders and solve problems on a tactical/strategic level.
  • Strong leadership skills, forward-looking and innovative approach
