Your Role and Responsibilities
- Create high-quality visual designs for IBM.com and related digital products, including websites, landing pages, and microsites- Collaborate with UI and UX designers to ensure that designs are consistent with user experience and Carbon design system standards
- Work with front-end developers to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and meet project requirements
- Partner with marketing and product management teams to understand business objectives and Create designs that align with brand guidelines and messaging
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in web design and user experience design
- Continuously improve design processes and techniques to enhance efficiency and quality

- Proven experience in visual web design or related field and a strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity- Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first design methodologies
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality designs under tight deadlines
- Experience working with design systems and the learning agility to quickly gain mastery over the IBM Design system, Carbon design system as well as IBM Branding guidelines and UI best practices.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Experience working with Carbon design system, Adobe Experience Managet (AEM), and Adobe Target.
