For an exciting opportunity to join our sales team, apply today!Why join the Accelerated Sales Program at White Cap?The Accelerated Sales Program is a comprehensive, sales-specific training program designed to fast-track the growth and development of new Outside Sales Representatives/Account Managers. Participants will work closely with White Cap sales leaders in a 6-12 month program to develop the skills, customer and supplier relationships, and knowledge needed to be successful in outside sales.An Account Manager - Accelerated Sales Program…Participates in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to learn the White Cap’s business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills.Prepares and executes account plans.Sells White Cap value proposition and products.Learns about making effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers.Enters and processes customer orders.Performs other duties as assigned.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field or one to two years of sales or related field experienceStrong communication skills and comfortable interacting with team membersRequires strong self-governance, a proactive approach, personal accountability, and independence.Competitive nature with a drive to succeedGoal-oriented with personal accountability to deliver on metricsOpen to feedback and willing to take action to improve performanceDemonstrated ability to plan and organize daily activitiesSpanish language proficiencyIf you’re looking to play a role in building America, consider one of our open opportunities.
