EndereçoThe requirements include: -Scala / Java experience Programming experience -Cassandra DB (and other NoSQL DB experience) - Rest API experience and knowledge - Ability to test own code and write UAT’s This person would work and report to our Lead Developer who would be local to Bay Area in a professional services model —————————————- Project Needs • Feature releases: Support and build new features based on business requirements • Maintenance: Bug fixes and enhancements to existing pages or features • Production support: Triage bugs detected on production • Technical optimization: Support technical optimization efforts defined by Technical Leadership Knowing the priorities of the Retail Platforms client team and stakeholder support (i.e. partners like IS&T) can change frequently, we conduct quarterly prioritization and backlog grooming sessions to review the upcoming release priorities and make adjustments as needed. This ensures the maximum number of deliverables per release, while also allowing the Retail Platforms client team to adjust priorities on a quarterly basis. Development cycle • Collaborate with Technical Leadership and Front-end Engineering teams through implementation of new features or to enhance existing functionality. • Focus on developing new or updating existing Rest API’s and Microservices. • Manage and update Databases with architecture tuned for scalability and performance. • Write Unit Tests and collaborate with QE Teams to develop test plans. • Work with cross-functional engineering partners on integration of shared services • Run Scrum based iterations on 2 week sprint cycles with requisite priorities for each sprint. • Help QA Teams triage identified issues and fix identified bugs Maintenance • Same steps and details as a feature release • Support Production by monitoring systems performance and reliability. • Investigate issues and identify potential solutions • Partner with Producers and QA team to assess impact to current work streams • Work with cross-functional engineering partners if required Introduction/Background This team will provide maintenance on the customer facing platform, This team will be responsible for back-end development, including development, integration, QA, and UAT, to support quarterly business objectives. Developers will manage and update code base according to business and design requirements.
