You deliver Business Intelligence services for strategic clients served by MR do Brasil. Your task will be to actively support the client management team by providing sound business and portfolio analytics and thereby foster the development of holistic business and client strategies.
You are organizationally reporting into the Executive Client Manager and you will be in close and direct cooperation with the underwriting and client management teams that you will be supporting as well as the business intelligence team in the Region.
YOUR JOB
- Contributing to the ambition of MRdB by providing business analytics for various client strategies and performance insights for a stringent portfolio steering in close cooperation with CM and UW
- Driving business and portfolio related analyses, reporting and research activities , including interpretation of findings and ensure a professional visualization.
- Supporting CM area to build and maintain access to relevant market and business information (business intelligence)
- Performing data analysis of external and internal data to discover patterns and trends; understanding, visualizing and summarizing the data
- Preparing presentations, dashboards and other visualizations facilitating access to data and relevant analysis for CM and UW colleagues
- Preparing external client, competitor and broker analysis as well as internal portfolio and renewal analysis
- Preparing high-quality and client-specific sales presentations (pitch books) for strategic clients
- Co-ordinating closely with relevant interfaces (RIC, RIA, Claims, RID, CAP, etc.) and other business analytics teams to ensure efficient and on-time delivery of steering relevant information
- Providing conceptual work, strategic thinking and story lining for internal meetings (strategy & performance) and external client meetings/pitches
YOUR PROFILE
- Outstanding academic profile with a university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or equivalent preferred;
- Preferably experience in a corporate finance, capital market and/or consultancy environment
- A meaningful understanding of reinsurance and MR steering mechanisms is a plus
- Exceptional Microsoft Office skills (esp. PPT and Excel), practical experiences in tools like Power BI, R or Python and the willingness to continuously improve your skills
- Excellent analytical and statistical skills, curious mindset and proactive approach (identifying opportunities and proposing solutions)
- High attention to detail and very sound understanding of numbers
- Strong written and verbal communication as well as strong networking and organizational skills
- Strong team player with the willingness to share knowledge
