Job Summary

We are looking for a Business Development Specialist who will drive the business growth in Northeast Brazil territory within a market company based on industry mapping, identify, prioritize and pursue business opportunities with new customer prospects and secure future business. Develop and drive execution of prospect account plan aligned to Tetra Pak and customer business objectives.

The position is based in Recife-PE, Brazil.

You will be travelling up to 75% of your time to our customer sites.

Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

What you will do

As Business Development Specialist you will:

  • Work on relevant industry mapping (within the assigned territory) and creation of prospecting plan;
  • Be responsible for Sales Management;
  • Be responsible for Relationship Management;
  • Secure accurate Sales Forecasting for assigned Accounts;
  • Lead the sales to identified prospects in the assigned territory;
  • Opportunity Pipeline Management Execution: Engage stakeholders and customers in joint value creation and quantification;
  • Be responsible for Customer Management during startup phase;
  • Be responsible for Portfolio Deployment;
  • Provide inputs to the organization (intelligence, portfolio requirements etc).

We believe you have

  •   Bachelor´s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or Engineering and similar;
  • Sales/Business Development experience;
  • Demonstrable skills in Value Selling, Account Management, Business Development, Presentations and be able to show strategic agility and an ability to deal with ambiguity;
  • Experience of generating new business;
  • Food industry business model understanding, value chain, application of food processing & packaging, assess and quantify opportunities along with other functions / Processing / Marketing / Services, etc.
  • Understanding of local market / categories mapping to identify opportunities;
  • Ability to assess and qualify leads & opportunities;
  • Should also be fluent in speaking and writing English (Spanish is desirable).
