Your Role and Responsibilities
As a core member of the Social Impact Communications and Marketing team, you will be expected to lead and execute work related to sustainability and ESG across IBM. This role is in charge of several activities to position IBM’s internal ESG work, including developing client references and positioning IBM’s corporate sustainability performance. In addition, this role also supports the liaison duties to other teams to build a comprehensive IBM’s narrative.
Responsibilities
1. Influences and supports the social impact campaign strategy in sustainability and ESG.
2. Provides guidance and find synergies with other teams.
3. Follows general directives to define priorities and resources.
4. Develop relationships with key members of the media.
5. Create and maintain a pipeline of compelling story ideas connected to sustainability, translating technical and business innovations into clear, compelling narratives.
6. Propose and execute plans leveraging ESG content with marketing tactics.
7. Able to build cross-disciplinary networks to contribute detailed content and expertise as needed for effective communications.
8. Establish a deep understanding of IBM’s strategies and priorities on sustainability.
9. Implement and contribute to communications strategies for the company in the sustainability and ESG arena.
