Job Purpose and Impact

The Customer Sustainability Manager will develop ways to increase sales and revenue from new and existing market segments and channels, by leveraging sustainability. In this role, you will offer insight to help shape the company's commercial sustainability strategies and provide input into annual sustainability business development plans to reach objectives and revenue. We seek a results-oriented professional who will develop and implement business plans, support sales in providing customer-facing technical sustainability expertise, and cultivate in-depth market knowledge to drive successful execution of our commercial sustainability strategy in the region.

Key Accountabilities

• Collaborate with Group channel/category leaders and account managers to understand business requirements and market needs.
• Provide customers with sustainability expertise by supporting assigned customer base
• Recognize and support new market segments and opportunities for business development thanks to sustainability
• Match customer needs to CFB’s sustainability product and service portfolio, working in collaboration with sales to move customers through the sales funnel
• Aggregate customer feedback and explore new portfolio angles, including early-stage innovation in coordination with global structures
• Prioritize market segment development activities and set sustainable sales targets
• Increase sales literacy on sustainability through an ongoing learning agenda and trainings
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Previous years of related work experience in a sustainability, sales or other commercial role, preferably in food ingredients, or a sector with mature sustainability products and services
• Working knowledge of food and bio-industrial supply chain sustainability challenges and market opportunities
• Advanced English skill is required
