Job Description:

Role Summary

Cox Communications, Inc. is seeking a Data and Analytics Project Manager - Supply Chain who will be responsible for development and implementation of processes and tools to enable effective utilization of inventory in network. The ideal candidate has experience in streamlining processes and building automated tools and dashboards to support inventory management for a high volume of SKU’s across a large network of locations.

The role will partner with the centralized planners, regionally located planners, cross-functional teams, and key stakeholders to enable the optimal supply of material to meet demand requirements while preventing the accumulation of stranded material.

Individual must have the ability to constructively deliver results working in a matrixed environment while earning the respect and trust of individuals on the team. Position may also have regular interaction and/or represent the department with key stakeholders and requires the individual to have the ability to understand and identify short- and long-term impacts.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Extract, clean, and analyze information out of complex datasets and present in a manner that drives actionable insights.
  • Leverages analytics and supply chain management expertise to evaluate complex challenges and identifies innovative solutions to improve overall business performance in the management of inventory.
  • Utilize SQL search queries along with other data analysis tools to perform in-depth analysis to identify trends and drive overall improvement.
  • Experience as an administrator of Anaplan, o9, or other advanced planning system.
  • Implement integrated and robust end-to-end process improvements that optimizes inventory usage and ensures that logic aligns consistently throughout all parts of the business.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop automated methods to audit key rules of governance for Master Data to ensure uniformity and accuracy through supply chain.
  • Automate and streamline team’s reporting processes utilizing business intelligence software or planning tools to increase overall visibility.
  • Work with key team members to develop continuous improvement strategies toward execution of Key Performance Metrics and develop tools, models, and dashboards in alignment with these directives.
  • Communicate systematic gaps with key stakeholders and work collaboratively with planning teams to determine and execute mitigation plans.
  • Partner with Systems & Integrations teams to review data integrity and coordinate system maintenance activities.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

Minimum

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience in a related field (i.e., supply chain, business, order management). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 4 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years’ experience in a related field in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficient experience using SQL in business analysis, product management, applications/software development, or ERP systems support.
  • Proficient experience developing and maintaining reports in business intelligence software (Power BI or Tableau).
  • Experience and demonstrated understanding of business concepts relating to Supply Chain Operations; Experience with MRP or ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Adjusts and responds to changing business processes and priorities.
  • Embraces change and identifies opportunities for process improvement.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to key stakeholders of various levels across the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization and external to Cox.
  • Strong track record for delivering results.
  • Minimal travel requirements for role (

Preferred

  • BS / BA degree preferred.
  • Oracle supply chain and ERP experience.
  • Experience developing software tools/automation (Python or object-oriented. programming language) is considered a major plus.
  • Telecommunications industry experience preferred.

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $106,700.00 - $177,900.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
