What you Will Do:
We are seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic Digital Data Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into valuable insights, strategic recommendations, and solid business decisions. If you are an analytical professional with experience in data collection, maintenance, and analysis, this is an exciting opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Interpretation: Analyze data using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
- Data Analysis and Implementation: Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Data Acquisition and Maintenance: Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases.
- Trend Identification: Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Data Cleansing: Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
- Collaboration with Management: Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Process Improvement: Define opportunities for process improvement.
Preferred experience:
- Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
- Technical expertise in data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (e.g., Business Objects), databases (e.g., SQL), and programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).
- Familiarity with statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
- Fluent English.
