- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, including sales professionals focused on Key Accounts.
- Key Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, negotiate contracts, and manage sales agreements.
- Sales Operations: Oversee day-to-day sales operations, including sales planning, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including Marketing and Product Development, to ensure cohesive business strategies.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage the sales budget and forecast.
- Reporting: Provide regular reporting to the COO on sales performance and key account status.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of Sales experience in the CPG or related industry, with at least 2 years in a senior management role and pet industry experience preferred.
- Proven track record of developing successful sales strategies and achieving sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in managing diverse teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical abilities and familiarity with CRM systems.
