Job Purpose and Impact
The Employee and Labor Relations Manager will provide advanced knowledge and leadership to shape and implement processes of employee relations and labor relations in the assigned region and enable such capabilities for human resources and business operations across the region to handle overall compliance risk and implement strategy in these domains. In this role, you will proactively identify opportunities and potential issues and risks to anticipate and launch preventive and mitigating actions where possible. Key Accountabilities
As subject matter authority on employee relations and labor relations, identify trends and risks for the assigned geography, suggest mitigating actions, proactive initiatives and ensure effective implementation.
Assess and lead process optimization on employee relations and labor relations and ensure adequate knowledge for implementation across the assigned region.
Represent the organization in sensitive and complex contract negotiations with labor unions, coordinate local negotiation mandate, administer collective bargaining agreements and grievances and maintain ongoing informal communications with union leadership when required.
Guide key partners on how to handle specific problems, as well as exhibiting authority for talent management decisions related to performance and disciplinary actions, including defining and upholding our practice on exit management.
Develop, design and interpret policies, training and communications, providing recommendations for corrective action, policy revision and improving employee relations, with the aim optimize the employee's wellbeing in all aspects.
Advise on the employee and labor relations approach regarding projects such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and transformation, including the related employee communication.
Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Solid related work experience
