Experienced Logistics Analyst (Demand Planner)
The role of Demand Planning is to build the business forecast for the BMC within the Market based on insights and assumptions and to identify any gaps in achieving the targets. Your role:
Create Sales, Marketing, Consensus forecast for the assigned planning horizon, Businesses and/or Customer Planning Groups using the AI baseline forecast which is validated with SC analytics, and then enriched with all relevant input from Sales, Customers, Customer Project Managers, Supply/Operations, Marketing, Finance and adjacent functions.
Collect input for phase-in/out & promotions and manage the underlying process for the market and/or customers • Review and analyze historical sales trends, sell out, stocking trade, and research demand drivers.
Analyze forecast accuracy results and define and implement corrective actions.
Lead conversation with relevant counterparts, propose forecast adjustments and challenge assumptions underpinning input.
Support all relevant functions in creating and communicating gap closing scenarios.
Identifies key issues and patterns from partial conflicting planning data.
Finds solutions on the basis of theoretical insights in planning methods and experience for deviating planning situations.
Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.
Drafts limited improvement projects within a unit and introduces new supporting planning process activities.
You're the right fit if:
You have acquired a minimum of 1 year of experience in similar roles.
You hold a bachelor´s degree in Supply Chain or related areas.
Your skills include critical and analytical thinking, proactiveness, effective communication across different organizational levels, effective presentation skills as well as outstanding data visualization capability.
Intermediate to advanced English level (required), Spanish (desired)
Proven experience working with Excel and SAP (PO creation and status follow up)
