Sobre esta posição:
Responsible for monitoring and analyzing developments and legislative initiatives in South American countries in the areas of food and packaging, such as contaminants, additives, food contact materials, chemicals, nutrition, labeling, market restrictions, among others. Making sure that interested internal parties understand the regulations under discussion to protect the company's interests.
Principais responsabilidades:
- Responsible for informing and alerting internal stakeholders about potential regulatory impacts/risks. Develop advocacy strategies, support authority management with stakeholder mapping and proactively build and strengthen external stakeholder contacts (external experts, industry organizations) in the region.
- Provide effective advice to all the internal teams to find solutions and identify potential risks in implementing the regulatory requirements, advising in any regulatory impact from the initial stage to the end, enabling the business to scale and grow.
- Represent the Group's interests in relevant working groups in SAM trade associations.
- Develop and maintain a network of relevant contacts and establish effective working relationships with stakeholders, decision-makers, institutions, academia and opinion leaders at SAM institutions and other key organisations.
- Drive strategy into planning ahead to ensure continued regulatory compliance with minimal unexpected business impact.
- Responsible for partnering with the international expert to set international standards and support education on regulations and impact for Ferrero.
- Responsible for working with factory quality teams to streamline procedures that adhere to Ferrero's regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance of product labeling and substantiation of product claims
- Oversee regulatory compliance and obtain sourcing certifications.
- Train cross-functional teams on Ferrero standards.
Quem buscamos:
- English, Portuguese and Spanish fluent.
- Experience in the food industry and /or SAM affairs ( Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador , Colombia );
- University degree in a low or political science. Or a Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, the Sciences or Engineering;
- Strong background in food regulatory and food safety.
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
- Flexible, and highly responsible and hands-on.
