Position: Information Technology Field Technician

Location: São Paulo, Brazil

Employment Type: Full-Time Employment

Role: Onsite

Note: Must be a Brazilian Citizen.

Language Requirement: Portuguese Native and Professional proficiency in English.

Job description:

  • Provide Install, Move, Add, Change (IMAC) and Break fix activities, including management of OEM warranty process, as required.
  • Provide standard software and operating system support.
  • Respond to and close both incident-based and case requests within SLA. Update incident status in ticketing tool.
  • Perform data collection related to migrations. Stage, Build, Image systems with Customer standards.
  • Instruct users on basic use of Product and Licensed Programs.
  • Execute service delivery (e.g., IMAC, break fix, desk side support).
  • Coordinate with Client end users on expectations and availability to conduct managed Client Services.
  • Perform troubleshooting, parts replacement, system upgrades, and basic deployments and repairs on Client assets in campus/remote locations.
  • Identify potential issues that could adversely impact end user experience and follow through on action steps.
  • Strive to meet all Client service level agreements.
  • Serve as an entry point to develop both technical and Client skills to grow into broader and more challenging field services roles.
  • Perform basic installation and maintenance of technical products.
  • Follow predefined procedures and tasks in everyday activities.
  • Work is regularly reviewed by a more senior level technical specialist.
  • Review, troubleshoot, and approve operational quality desktops, notebooks, printers, and associated peripherals.
  • Install, maintain, and optimize desktop/notebook configurations.
  • Diagnose and resolve product performance problems.
  • Perform maintenance and repair services.
  • Advise Clients on preventive maintenance and configurations which may impact product performance.

Requirements-

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in deskside support, IT support, or a related technical field.
  • Ability to follow predefined procedures and tasks in everyday activities.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues, including hardware break/fix support and IMAC procedures.
  • Good communication skills for coordinating with Clients and team members.
  • Knowledge of desktop/notebook configurations, networking, and peripheral devices.
  • Experience with staging, building, and imaging systems to Customer standards.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve product performance problems, perform maintenance and repair services, and provide preventive maintenance advice.
  • Familiarity with standard software and operating system support.
  • Experience with incident and case management within SLA, including updating incident status in a ticketing tool.
  • Ability to work in a project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork.
