As an IS/IT Infrastructure Specialist (m/f/d), you will play a key role in strengthening our global Information Systems team, helping in ABB Logistics Center Europe in Menden, executing and solving complex technical and professional IT activities. This role delivers appropriate Information Systems solution/service infrastructure according to agreements, on time, on budget and with good quality. You will be part of a team applying strong Information Systems infrastructure technology knowledge and expertise to aid in global business needs and help solve challenging topics.

Your responsibilities

• Utilizing your knowledge of Information Systems technology and business requirements to support colleagues in implementation and operation
• Supporting the installation, management, maintenance and optimization of Information Systems solutions/services in regards of the required infrastructure, or the changing of existing IS solutions/services
• PC Lifecycle Support: Provide hardware and software support including break/fix, imaging, inventory, post build set up, new user set up, and peripheral installation
• Configure and manage MFPs and printing solutions including large MFP devices, label printers and small use laser printers
• Ensure Manufacturing Excellence: Supports manufacturing environment, support technologies required for continued business operations including off hours support
• Consulting with relevant stakeholders across the business to give advice, ensuring compliance with ABB Information Systems enterprise architecture
• Providing leadership to temporary work teams, guiding and monitoring task completion, disseminating expert knowledge and advice

Your background

• A Bachelor´s degree in IT or IS technologies or similar
• Few years of relevant experience in maintaining and developing IT systems
• Understanding of Networking Topology, Concepts and Server Infrastructure
• Experience with manufacturing processes, procedures, and factory IT programs preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple demands on your time, in cross-functional, virtual and international teams
• A collaborative, solutions- and customer-service-oriented approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
• English and German fluent written and spoken
