Responsible for Field Service activities such as installation, relocation, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, requalification and field action within assigned areas of responsibility.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage field activities: installation, relocation, requalification, field action, preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions.
- Performing remote support activity.
- Communicate with customers to determine needs and explain the technical service detail provided.
- Manage own parts inventory (including replenishment).
- Manage infrastructure provided by the company: laptop, mobile phone, car and tools.
- Generating reports and ensure a good practice of documentation in the work order management system.
- Attend ongoing training events sponsored by company or machine manufacturers to stay up to date on the latest technology and repair options.
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
- Performs other duties assigned as needed.
Knowledge and experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronic / Mechatronic, or related field
- Minimum of two years’ experience in related field
- Medical Equipment’s acknowledge is desired
- Intermediate English
