BAT BRAZIL IS LOOKING FOR A LEGAL TAX MANAGER
SENIORITY LEVEL: Management
FUNCTION: Legal & External Affairs
LOCATION: Rio de Janeiro - Brasil
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
The role is responsible for: This person will be responsible for all litigation and consultancy in the tax and social security areas of BAT Brasil. The position is also Business Partner for the financial area, providing support for all financial area topics that have legal impacts. The position will also be responsible for managing the corporate and real estate areas.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

• Tax and Social Security Litigation.
• Tax and Social Security Advisory.
• External audit support.
• SOX Audit Support.
• Legal support for all topics in the financial area (business partner).
• Corporate area / Real estate area.
• Budget control and payments for the area.
• Draft and review all contracts in the area, as well as review all contracts in the financial area.
• Control of provisions and guarantees in the tax and social security area.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in the Tax area.
• Bachelor's Degree in Law.
• Microsoft Office management: Advanced.
• English level: Advanced/Fluent.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal relationship, and team management skills.
