As a Director of Market Research and Analysis, you'll support the onshore senior management team with primary Market Research expertise. The principal purpose of this role is to provide insights around our customers and market trends to leadership and inform key decisions. The ideal candidate must understand the business problem, collect and study relevant data, and should be able to produce meaningful findings that help to solve the business problem at hand. What you will do:

  • Engage with stakeholders across Marketing, Product, and Distribution organizations to understand business problems and identify areas where research could help provide answers or direction
  • Scope the Research and work on research design that is efficient and scientifically validated.
  • Engage with our platform providers and/or vendors to launch and monitor the data collection
  • Conduct analysis based on research data by applying suitable concepts/ techniques/ frameworks, as required. Deliberate with vendors on these if it's a vendor-driven project.
  • Produce established and recurring custom reports, as well as investigate and resolve data discrepancies and questions as they arise
  • Package and communicate insights to business leaders for clear insight and actions
  • Work with highly experienced Research Consultants (and vendors or external partners) on a day-to-day basis and interact with senior business stakeholders regularly.
What you will bring:
  • 10+ years' experience in analytical, marketing, or strategic roles.
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience as a leader for a research, analytical, or strategic function
  • Graduate / post-graduate degree in Business Management/Statistics/Economics/Finance
  • Experience in conducting user testing research as part of UX/UI evolution and design and working with a platform/specialist to establish the use of UX testing in the company.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, online survey management tools (e.g. Qualtrics), and data visualization tools.
  • Very good understanding of MR project lifecycle from Problem Definition to Sampling, Questionnaire Design, Data Preparation/Transformation, Analysis, and Presentation writing and delivery
What will set you apart:
  • Displays a flair for quantitative and qualitative data analyses and interpretation
  • Strong organizational and project management skills and ability to 'own' several tasks simultaneously while delivering against tight delivery timeframes
  • Effective presentation and storyboarding skills with exposure to executive-level presentations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. A persuasive and influencing style would fit well with this role
  • Financial industry experience is a plus, particularly in the wealth management space.
  • Experience in brand, communications and product research preferred

Base Salary Range
$120,600.00 - $174,825.00 The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
