- Developing the external communications plan and roadmap for South America to take forward the business and build Valmet brand.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key external stakeholders including PR agencies and industrial associations.
- Developing strategies to support corporate culture and business initiatives like Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability branding, and external media relations.
- Supporting in tasks related to PR and events, coordinate with PR agency and undertake ad-hoc assignments.
- Implementing the Marketing plan together with sales, business line Marketing and Valmet’s marketing network and partners, including digital content, customer engagement programs and events, global product/solution launches in South America.
- Adapting and localizing global marketing campaigns for the market area.
- Developing lead generation activities and lead management.
- Budgeting and follow-up of Marketing and external communications activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Communications or Business Administration.
- Solid experience in Marketing and Communication (offline, online and PR).
- Experience in the pulp and paper industry.
- Good understanding of multichannel marketing, content creation and distribution.
- Digital marketing capability, such as social media, marketing automation, customer engagement, and experience from related tools, as Salesforce & Pardot, Episerver, GoToWebinar.
- Fluent Portuguese.
- Advanced English.
- Spanish (Differential).
- Willingness to travel.
- Project management skills, results and solutions-oriented approach.
- Ability to act as the expert for Brazil, consulting and advising others on best approaches to PR and external communications.
- Very good co-operational skills, ability to network and maintain good working relationships across an international matrix organization.
- Positive outlook and adaptability to changing circumstances.
