About the Role
This is a brilliant opportunity for an expert Material Quality Manager to come and craft the future at our Baileys production sites. The purpose of the role is to protect our Brands and Reputation at both sites and to play a lead role in driving world Class Quality Standards.
As the Quality Manager, you will work across all operational functions within the Baileys organisation, our Material suppliers and additionally with the Global Governance Team in developing and crafting the site strategy and implementing the vital initiatives and programmes to deliver against our goals. You will be responsible for the delivery of objectives and targets for Baileys Material Quality Strategy.
Other key accountabilities are;
- Ensure that all manufactured goods are produced according to quality specifications and are compliant with government regulations and standards.
- Driving Continuous improvement programmes with Key suppliers.
- Lead projects using the manufacturing excellence principles.
- Lead root cause problem exercises both internally and externally.
- Responsible for Collating data and preparing reports thus monitoring governance performance measures and presenting them at daily, weekly, and monthly operation reviews.
- Identifying and driving cost-saving initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role you will need;
- Third-level degree in Science or engineering.
- Experience in a similar role in FMCG/Manufacturing or similar industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Able to use initiative whilst under pressure.
- You will have the ability and capability to be able to challenge and influence peers and seniors.
- Computer literacy including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
- A full clean driving license is essential.
